We are hugely proud to announce that Protime has won the World-class Workplace Award 2023-2024 in the ‘Business Software’ category. This prize is awarded by Effectory, a company based in the Netherlands that helps businesses around the world to bring their employees together and thereby improve their company culture, productivity and retention. World-class Workplace is an ‘Excellence-in-employership’ label that is awarded to high-achieving companies, based solely on the feedback of employees of those businesses.

100% response rate from employees

In order to be recognised as a World-class Workplace, Protime conducted a company-wide Employee Engagement Survey and Team Development Scans, with the ambitious target of a 100% response rate. This was achieved: survey respondents were rewarded with an extra day’s leave.

Efforts pay off

“This award is very important to us,” explains Jonas Van Herck, People & Culture Director at Protime. “We want to build a genuine feedback culture in which every Protimer becomes a co-owner of the results. It’s a process that we are continuously optimising. This recognition from Effectory is a great acknowledgement of our strategy.”

“Having been a proud Great Place To Work for ten years, we felt it was time to take that up to the next level,” adds Vincent Nys, Business Partner at Protime. “Effectory zooms in more closely on the company-specific situation, makes the data easily shareable and applies strict benchmarks to determine whether or not you get the label.” Protime is in good company, too. Other World-class Workplace companies include Bol, DELA, Tony’s Chocolonely and Icelandair.

What’s next?

Over the years ahead, Protime is going to continue focussing on a pleasant working environment, paying attention to the work-life balance of employees and a culture in which every employee feels at ease. “We want to be a Once in a Lifetime employer and so this recognition as a World-class Workplace is a valuable acknowledgement,” Nys adds. “What is even more important is that with Effectory we are able to create a listening landscape in which we can constantly improve our company based on feedback. Our employees’ happiness at work is one of our most important company objectives. As, of course, happy employees also make for happy customers.”
