National Minimum Wage Increase
06-04-2011
The national minimum wage is set to increase by 15p to £6.08 per hour from October this year.
According to Mr. Vince Cable Business Secretary, It is estimated that 890,000 of Britain's lower paid workers would benefit from this increase. There are three fundamental questions British companies need to ask themselves today:
1. How will you prepare for this increase?
2. Will the increase add an extra cost to your organisation?
3. Can you accurately manage and record hours worked today?
However with an effective HR and Workforce Management Policy in place this additional costs can easily be controlled and effectively managed. Having an effective Workforce Management System to help monitor and managing these costs, will definitely help minimise the impact on your business.
Here at Protime we can help with this from as little as £1.50 per employee per month. This figure is based on our SaaS (Software as a Service) business model. The entire system is hosted in Protime's very own state of the art data centre. This business model ensures business continuity and gives organisations scalability and flexibility to grow or even for seasonable business.
