Flexible working
11-05-2011
Regus' March report showed that more people want a job with flexible working hours. This would provide a good work and private life balance, which young people aspire to…
However, many companies are scared of this way of working, because of a lack of trust in their employees. Other executives do not really want to know how much time was spent on a specific job. The job has to be done, no matter what, especially for knowledge workers.
Both reactions are perfectly understandable and human. But, face it, This is a 'hear no evil, see no evil' reaction which undermines the time and efforts of your fellow workers.
Aren't there a lot of jobs where people are perfectly capable of managing their own working hours? And wouldn't you want to know if somebody is really performing double shifts all the time?
We can help you resolve this problem through our time and attendance solutions.
