Long working hours culture: out of fashion!

We all seem to be well accustomed to the idea of putting in long working hours in order to live up to the expectations of our managers and peers. We almost consider it to be a barometer to measure our chances to become professionally successful. For some odd reason, we seem to believe that spending 10 to 12 hours a day in the office proves that you are willing to work hard and that you are not a benefiter.
