Protime and Kaba announce their partnership for Workforce Management as a Service - WaaS.

Kaba and Protime thus offer companies the possibility of opting for a completely outsourced workforce management service package, including hardware and software. Workforce management as a service is a new SaaS solution for time and attendance.
The rental costs for the system are invoiced on a quarterly basis and are based on the number of people who actually use the time and attendance system, as well as the number of terminals installed.

Automatic updates

The solution consists of the SaaS solution from Protime for time and attendance personnel planning scheduling and access control. The hardware for time and attendance and access control through Kaba. The time attendance software is hosted in the Protime data centre. Therefore you do not require a separate server our a large IT infrastructure, which saves on the purchasing of IT hardware and ongoing maintenance costs. Protime guarantees the operational reliability of the system 24/7/365.

Automatic backups and updates to the time and attendance software take place on a regularly so that the customer benefits from the latest version software at all times.

Online communication

For the new SaaS solution, Kaba has developed a new web-based online communication system for their time attendance terminals. When an employee clocks In or Out at on the time and attendance terminal, the data is transmitted via the Internet to the Protime software.
The software then generates personalized messages and sends this back to the terminal with e.g. thank you, good morning, flexitime balance. For the user, the operation of the terminal is identical to that of a locally installed system.
