In 2012 the Olympics will be held from 27th July to 12th August. The Paralympic Games will be held from 29th August to 9th September.

Half of employers in the UK will not allow flexible working during this time. This will directly lead to a high amount of absenteeism in the workplace as the 2012 Olympics is the first Olympic Games to be held in the UK since 1948 and offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience the events to many people.

That's why we suggest introducing flexible working to your business.

If an employee wishes to apply for flexible working conditions, she/he needs to have worked for the organization for at least 26 weeks and must not have put in a similar request over the last 12 months.
