Employer 2012 resolution: Improve employee work/life balance

One of the biggest concerns of employers is the work/life balance of employees.

A recent study by Group Risk Development showed that most of the large and medium sized companies surveyed were willing to improve employee work life balance in 2012. 

If the balance is good, there will be less stress related absence as a result of long working hours. One way a good work/life balance can be achieved is through flexible working. This means that you can adapt your work to your private life (for example, being home when the children are home) and adapt your private life to your work (working in the evening because in the late afternoon the kids were home).
